The annual John P. Wilson Society Appreciation Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Society members will enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting with a great view: the Chicago Room at the Chicago History Museum. Come enjoy views of Lincoln Park, learn about the latest developments at Children’s Memorial Hospital and explore the newly renovated Chicago History Museum.
Tours
The Office of Planned Giving offers special tours of Children’s Memorial Hospital and Research Center to John P. Wilson Society members. Tours are personalized to your particular area of interest and may include a short presentation by a doctor, researcher or other key staff member. Destinations have included, but are not limited to, the following:
- Motion Analysis Center – learn how we use technology to assess and treat neuromuscular, orthopaedic and other movement disorders and work to prevent injuries in young athletes
- Microscopy and Imaging Facility – see the microscopes and imaging technology vital to medical research and discovery
- Janice and Kimberly Brown Family Life Center – experience the respite area devoted to inpatients and their families, which offers age-appropriate activities and resources for people of all ages
